Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has slapped the All Nepal Football Association (Anfa) a fine of $2000 for fielding overage players in the AFC U-16 Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand in September.
AFC’s disciplinary committee on November 28 had submitted 39 cases that had violated its rules and the region’s governing body of football disclosed the list on Saturday. The information in the AFC’s website says in pursuant of Article 70 of the AFC disciplinary code, “ANFA is fined $ 2,000 for violating Article 22.2 of the AFC U-16 Championship 2014 regulations read together with Article 55.1 of the code in the matches against Uzbekistan and DPR Korea.”
