The police have mobilized a special unit to search for the assets plundered by gangsters through criminal activities. The police have showed urgency to search for assets of individuals with criminal background after death of gangster Dinesh Adhikari, also known as Chari in an encounter as claimed by the police. Around one and half dozen gangsters involved in organized crimes, financial crimes and smuggling of endangered animal species are still under police vigilance, according to police officers involved in investigation.
