Life is so unpredictable. Things happen suddenly, unexpectedly. We want to feel we are in control of our own existence. In some ways we are, in some ways we’re not. We are ruled by the forces of chance and coincidence. ‘Nai Na bhannu La 2’ is a beautiful movie, with beautiful story, related to unpredictable life, full of emotions, affection, love and dreams, a cute romance between a boy and a girl of grade three, presented with perfection, and the heart touching, melodious songs is unforgettable. This is a movie that’s going to make you laugh, cry and steal your heart. Everyone dreams of achieving something, but not everyone gets enough luck to fulfill their dream. Director Bikash Acharya has done wonderful job in presenting an innocent love story of two kids, a seven year old school boy Shishir (Anuvab Regmi) and Ritu (Sugyani bhattarai) where Shishir has a dream to become a legendary singer/musician Narayan Gopal. Both the child actors were marvelous have taken their roles quite well. I can’t imagine more than this from kids like them. Bikram (Suraj Singh Thakuri), a well known heart doctor is the father of Shishir and Kusum (Priyanka Karki) is the mother of Shishir. Both of them were very good in delivering emotions. Suraj Singh has all the charm he needs to be a superstar but he needs to push more and more passion will be required. He was good in the movie, but it could have been even better from him. Priyanka in the role of mom was amazing. She delivered all the emotions needed for the movie, and I’d say, that’s world class act from her. The movie starts from Kathmandu airport, where a teenage girl takes a taxi. She then goes inside a house of Bikram and Kusum. After the few conversations, the story goes back to a decad, where the innocent love story between Shishir and Ritu starts. Shishir has a dream to become a legendary singer/musician Narayan Gopal. He devotes his time to music. His father Bikram and mother Kusum have been encouraging and persuading him to get his goal. One day Bikram meets Suresh Thapa (Saroj Khanal), a well-known musician/singer. He introduces him to Shishir and requests him to teach music. Where Suresh, refuses to teach the kid music to protect him from the shadow of his own tragic past, the strong determination of the kid make him change his mind which lead his life towards unpredicted consequences. Will the boy reaches its goal? What happens to Ritu? For that answer, you need to watch the movie yourself. I don’t want to make spoiler of the movie. - By nfilmreviews.com
