Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam is injured while observing the landslide-hit area in Sindhupalchowk district yesterday. Minister Bamdev injured his left leg being entangled in rocks while returning after inspecting the landslide that killed 156 persons last month. He was taken to Khadichaur where he received five stitches below his left knee at a local medical facility. He was inspecting the artificial lake over Sunkoshi River, alternative roads constructed by businessmen and Nepal Army and dam of the Sunkoshi Hydropower Project.
