Khusbu admitted her relationship with Chari after he was killed by the police in a so-called encounter. A delegation of CPN-UML leaders have urged Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam to take severe action against the police officer who shot dead notorious gangster Dinesh Adhikari aka Chari on Wednesday evening. Notorious gangster Dinesh Adhikari alias ‘ Chari ’ was gunned down by cops in a cross-fire with police at Bhimdhunga in the Capital on Wednesday.Chari had multiple charges against him, ranging from smuggling of wildlife body parts, attempted murder, extortion, kidnapping, among others. He is said to have ventured into the underworld by joining the gang of another feared gangster Deepak Manange in Thamel around 11 years ago.
Chari was not killed in the encounter with the police rather it was an organized plan, maintains his family members.
Murder-accused and notorious gangster Dinesh Adhikari alias Chari has been shot dead at Bhimdhunga in the capital on Wednesday evening. He was shot dead yesterday at Bhimdhunga in Kathmandu on Wednesday. He was killed in an exchange of fire between the police and his gang members Bhimdhunga area. Police say Chari was in the police net many times in the past, but he was released because of political pressure.
The person opened fire at the police at a place called Nursery and police too opened fire in retaliation and the person fell on the ground,” he said. “A joint police team of Metropolitan Police Range and Metropolitan Police Crime Division followed a suspicious biker at Bhimdhunga. “Police didn’t know who the person was till that time and came to know the person to be the most wanted only after close observation”.
