Minister for Youth and Sports, Purushottam Poudel, has said that there were lots of problems in the sports sector. Minister Poudel said one after other problem has been surfaced in the sports sector for lack of timely reforms of policies and acts, formulated during the Panchyat regime, and lack of transparency in audit report of different organisations related to sports sector. Talking to media persons at Gorkha district headquarters on Tuesday, he said though the National Sports Council (NSC) monitors, regulates and studies activities of sports organisations, problem has surfaced as NSC was not fully capable for the same.
