Nepal Under-23 football team shrugged off their previous defeat to bounce back in the series as they beat host Bangladesh U-23 football team . Nepal U-23 team, which is in Bangladesh to prepare for the 17th Asian Games, defeated Bangladesh U-23 1-0 on Friday in their second and final friendly match played at the Sylhet District Stadium. The Nepali team, comprising 20 players and four officials, arrived in Bangladesh on Monday to play two friendly matches. The team will return home on Saturday after its six-day Bangladesh tour. Nepal has been drawn alongside Japan, Kuwait and Iraq in Group D of the Asian Games´ football competition. Nepal will play Iraq in its first match on September 14, Kuwait on September 17 and defending champion Japan on September 21 in its last group match. Nepal had lost 1-0 to Bangladesh U-23 in the first friendly on Tuesday at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka.
