Narendra Modi's slip of tongue, referring to Bhutan as Nepal

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit of Bhutan, made a slip-up in his address to the Parliament of Bhutan on Monday, referring the host country as Nepal. The first slip came during the start of his address, when Modi referred to "Nepal" instead of Bhutan while greeting the Bhutanese royal family which was present in the National Assembly. It is believe that While trying to offer appreciation to the Royal family, Modi he said ‘Nepal’ in place of Bhutan. There were lots of comments about modi's address in twitter. where hashtags like #Bhutan and #Nepal started trending immediately. Modi, who made Bhutan his first foreign visit destination after becoming the Indian premier, is likely to visit Nepal in August.
