A group of people smeared black soot on the face of Land Revenue Department, Dillibazaar,Metropolitan City-4 Chief, Gopal Giri, on charges of registering a public land in a person’s name.Metropolitan Police Circle, Kamalpokhari said former ward chairman of KMC-4, Achyut Prasad Sapkota led the gang which assaulted Chief Land Revenue Officer Gopal Giri at around 12:30 pm today. The locals went to the office of Land revenue Department after Giri allegedly registered 5 Ropani and 11 Aana of land in the name of one Purna Bahadur Thapa After the incident, employees of the Office halted works demanding security.
