47 bodies recovered from Bheri River

As road accidents have become routine these days, another accident was happened when a passenger bus plunged into the Bheri river at Bhur-8 in Jajarkot district on Thursday morning, due to the negligence of driver again. At least three people, including two children were killed, eleven others injured and some four dozen passengers are still missing.The bodies of 47 individuals who died in the Jajarkot bus accident on Thursday, 20 November, 2014, have been taken out. Of them, 32 have been identified, while the remaining 15 are yet to be identified.The home ministry sent a special rescue team, including divers from the Nepal Army (NA), by helicopter, who had reached the site two hours after the accident. Therefore, the NA special team has been unable to find the bus in the water as of Thursday evening. "The rescue operation will resume tomorrow," SP Karna added. The kin of the victims have accused authorities of causing delays in the rescue efforts.
