Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has raided shops running inside Tribhuvan International Airport after they were found involved in unscrupulous activities selling unauthorized goods.
The Home Ministry also have transferred police chief at Tribhuvan International Airport ( TIA ), DIG Yadav Adhikari , to Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal, Kathmandu. A spokesperson said, “Coffee shops were found selling even liquors which they are not permitted for. We have found further unethical activities being carried by other shops too,” Sapkota said. A special team from the anti-graft body had raided the airport shops at around 2pm on Friday.
