The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has caught red-handed two government employees at the District Attorney Office, Kathmandu,
while they were taking bribes from a service seeker. Deputy Attorney General and Nayab Subba (non-gazzeted officer) of the Kathmandu District Court while receiving bribe. Thapa and Nayab Subba (non gazette officer) Kedar Prasad Aryal while taking Rs 25,000 in bribe at the office premises.The duo had demanded the kickback from Khadka assuring his victory in a sub-judice case. The duo have been taken under the custody of the anti-graft watchdog. Investigation is underway, CIAA said.
