Police nabbed Sujan Paudel aka Ramesh Bahun, who was wanted in more than a dozen cases. As per Narcotic Drugs (Control and Punishment) Act, anyone possessing more than 25 grams of heroin is liable to life imprisonment with the confiscation of entire property, if convicted. According to Nepalpolice Bahun was arrested from Kalanki Kathmandu Nepal however, it is known that most wanted Nepali don Bahun has been arrested in India.
Bahun,32, of Ramechhap was also wanted for his alleged involvement in extortion, kidnapping, smuggling of drugs and small arms, murder, hooliganism and fraud. He was in Nepali Army’s Ranger Battalion and had deserted the force during the decade-long Maoist insurgency to run a criminal network.
