India Sets New World Record for Largest Human Flag

India have set a new world record for the largest human flag, formed by over 50,000 volunteers, beating the previous record held by Pakistan. Few months ago More than 35,000 Nepalese gathered in Tundikhel in Kathmandu to form the world's largest human national flag. It was also the official attempt to break the previous world record set by Pakistan.In India the event saw about 1.5 lakh volunteers, mainly youth, turn up for the event at YMCA Grounds here even as 50,000 of them formed the tricolour, Governor of Rotary 3230, organiser of the 'My Flag My India' campaign, ISAK Nazar, told reporters here.

India now Sets New World Record for Largest Human Flag Nepal Previously Sets New World Record for Largest Human Flag Thousands of people assembled today at Tundikhel in an attempt to send the message of national unity wherever the Nepalese people are living. The Human Value for Peace and Prosperity today assembled around 35,000 people carrying placards at Tundikhel and a portrait of Nepali flag was made for establishing the Guinness World Records for the largest human flag. The largest Nepali human flag was captured in the camera from a helicopter.Earlier, in February 29,040 Pakistani nationals had gathered at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore to form the world’s largest human flag.
