Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has extended a formal invitation to United States President Barack Obama to visit Nepal. Koirala send the invitation through US ambassador to Nepal Peter W. Bodde. PM Koirala had first invited President Obama to visit Nepal during their brief meeting on the margins of the 69th UN General Assembly in New York on November 24. Ambassador Bodde informed that the recent Power Trade Agreement (PDA) signed with India and the power development agreements for two mega hydropower projects—Arun III and Upper Karnali—signed by Investment Board have sent a good message among investors.
