Mr Radheshyam Adhikari is a senior advocate of Nepal . He has a Master's Degree in Economics and Bachelor's Degree in Law. Adhikari has been practicing law at Supreme Court of Nepal and other courts since 1974. He has been a Member of the first Constituent Assembly from the year 2008 to 2012. He was twice nominated as the Member of the Parliament from 2002 to 2008. He also served as the President of Nepal Bar Association from the year 1991 to 1993.
Adhikari has served as a lawyer in different capacities. The most prominent being Honorary Legal Advisor of the Kathmandu University (1991 onwards), Member of High Level Anti-Corruption Recommendation Committee (2000), Member of Press Council (2002-2006) and Chairperson of High Level Media Commission (2007). He is also associated with Amnesty International and Transparency International. He has been a practitioner in both the constitutional and corporate laws.
Adhikari has published articles in professional journals and national newspapers. He has also made presentations in several national and international conferences in different parts of the world.
