Is Red Meat Bad For You, or Good?

Posted by Anup Baral September 30, 2014 :

Many people enjoy eating red meat but wonder whether it's healthy. Some people think that all red meat is unhealthy while others think that all red meat is nutritious.Consumers purchase meat of ill and unhealthy animals as there is no checking of animal health before killing. The meat on sale is polluted with flies; the animals are killed in dirty and open places. Traders sell goat meat claiming it to be he-goat and sell it by keeping it in freezer for many days. In a monitoring a month ago, many shops had goat meat and had hidden goats for butchering. Red meat are unhealthy because they are high in saturated fat. Individuals who consume foods that are high in saturated fat increase their likelihood of developing heart disease.which makes it more difficult for the heart to pump blood. But not all red meat is high in saturated fat, and some studies have shown that consumption of lean red meat doesn't cause a significant increase in cholesterol levels. Most studies focus on red meat itself without controlling for fat content, so it's unclear whether all red meat or just fatty red meat is unhealthy.
