The government on Friday nominated the names of 18 distinguished personalities out of 26 lawmakers to the Constituent Assembly. A meeting of the Cabinet in the Capital today nominated 18 Constituent Assembly (CA) members from Nepali Congress , CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal’s quota. The remaining eight names will likely be recommended by the next cabinet meeting,” said Minister for Information and Communications and government spokesperson Minendra Rijal. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Ganesh Thapa has been nominated as lawmaker from RPP-N quota. The cabinet has also fixed the ceiling of Rs 50 billion for Asian Development Bank while investing in the hydro sector.
