The CPN-UML on Friday formed two panels to study suggestions and comments on party documents floated by participants of the party's ninth general convention. The first meeting of the party's central committee held today formed a seven-member committee led by party Chair KP Sharma Oli to study comments received on the political document, according to UML CC member Ram Kumari Jhakri. Jhankri posted on her Facebook timeline that Vice-Chairpersons Bhim Rawal and Ashta Laxmi Shakya, Deputy General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal, Secretary Pradip Gyawali and CC members Shankar Pokhrel and Chhabilal BK are members of the committee. Likewise, another seven-member team headed by General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel will look into party cadres' comments and suggestions for organisational report and the party statute. Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Paudel, Secretaries Yogesh Bhattarai and Gokarna Bista and CC members Beduram Bhusal, Binda Pandey and Agni Kharel are members of the committee, according to Jhakri. Jhakri wrote that the second meeting of the CC will be held on August 10 to review the general convention and draft a plan of action.
