Ministry of Finance unveiled Rs 618 billion (US$6.4 billion budget for the fiscal year 2014/15 on Sunday evening. Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat outlined the $6.4 billion budget with spending on policies to improve power supplies and infrastructure and increase agriculture.
Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat allocated 86 Billion and 3 Crore to promote Education sectors of Nepal. Similarly, Rs. 78.72 billion has been released for financial management.5 Megawatts solar plants in Kathmandu and encourage other solar plants and Proceed the construction of transnational and other transmission lines with high priority.
