Govt rescues 11 Nepalis from Iraq

After being stranded in war-torn Iraq for two months, 11 Nepali migrants landed in Kathmandu on Friday night from a Fly Dubai flight. They were rescued from Kirkuk and Kurdistan by the Nepali government. Today's Daily News Update: July 17, 2014

The migrant workers have been identified as Mohan Kumar Basnet of Morang, Pres Giri of Khotang, Top Bahadur Basnet of Dang, Santosh Lamichhane of Kaski, Jit Bahadur Tamang of Okhaldhunga, Prakash Bishwokarma of Chitwan, Dhan Bahadur BK of Rukum, Bishnu Basnet of Ramechhap, Indra Kumar Limbu and Subash Madi of Dhankuta and Anil Chaudhary of Dang.
