The Former King, Gyanendra Shah has reached Jhapa. He has decided to spend about a week in Jhapa.
The ex-king worshipped the Sureshwornath Mahadev in Sishaniya VDC-3 in Bara district last week. He said that his aim of offering pooja at different religious shrines was for peace and prosperity of the people and the country. In a brief interaction with media men Responding to a query, the former king told journalists to ask for information from the people about the country's political situation and to know whether or not the politicians were working as per the people's expectations. Ex-king Shah was welcomed by locals and different social organizations.
