Prime Minister Sushil Koirala invited India's Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi to visit Nepal and expressed hope that bilateral ties between the two neighbours will be further strengthened under his premiership.
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and Nepali Congress President has invited Narendra Modi, would-be Prime Minister of India, for Nepal visit after the latter assumes his office in New Delhi.PM Koirala met with Modi at Hyderabad House in Delhi Tuesday morning and gave the invitation to Modi. Pm Modi assured him that he is eager to visit Nepal at the earliest. According to leaders, PM Koirala requested Modi to visit the northern neighbor before the Saarc summit to be held in Kathmandu in November. He told Modi that none of the India prime ministers visited Nepal in the last 15 years and that the visit by Modi would add a new dimension to Nepal-India relations.
