The price of gold decreased by Rs. 800 per tola (11.664 grams) in the domestic market on Thursday. The gold was traded at Rs. 54,000 per tola in the domestic market as of yesterday
The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs. 53,000per tola on Tuesday. The payment of gold imports is made in US dollar. According to the Federation of Nepalese Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the change in the price of gold in the international market and slight depreciation of US dollar against Nepali currency triggered the fall in the price of gold in the domestic market.
